That's why he has the most successful criminal practice in all of Nevada. Buchanan is one of the most legendary, ethical and smartest criminal defense attorneys west of the Mississippi. AND, he is very compassionate. You, on the other hand, are an ass who obviously doesn't like hearing the truth when your lawyer spells it out to you. I can't believe you even know how to use the internet, given that you barely know how to spell. Maybe if you had bothered to pay attention and stay in school, which you obviously DID NOT given your pathetic grammatical skills, you wouldn't have needed the service of a CRIMINAL defense attorney in the first place. “i dont think Bucky is the worst att'y in Vegas Marsha, but he most certainly isn't among the elite when it comes to knowledge of the law and applying it in defense of his clients. He retains his upper echelon status strictly because of his " celebrity" status. He knows lots of people, most importantly deputy district attorneys and is called in "inmate language" a "dumptruck." In exchange for conceding the guilt of lower level criminals, in return he receives good plea offers for more high profile cases. He is literally a "court jester" and due to his longevity in the industry judges are the appreciative recipients of a picker upper. Consider it an overdose of caffeine or or just a change in the dull and "blah" calender of any courtroom that is "privileged" to have him that day. I've been witness to ADA's and court personel all saying "oh goody we have Bucky in here today. this should be fun and interesting." But be it a violation hearing, status check or plea deal the inmates end back up in the 8 by 10.” — not good to make deals at the expense of innocent people 7/31/08

“I know how you feel those who have been screwed by Bucky. Be careful if you go with him. He screwed my brother. He told him not to take a plea because he was going to get him off on probation and now my brother is serving 5-12 years. If I didn't live so far away I would love to go to his office and give him a piece of my mind. He is a great talker, but when it comes down to it, he just bullshits you. He didn't show up to several scheduled hearings and he didn't even bother to show up at his sentencing. Beware.” — Sorry to have used Bucky 10/6/08
