Patricia is the webmaster's lost foster daughter, who he raised from the
age of one month to 5-1/2 years.
She was born on March 19, 1998, and joined the webmaster's household
about a month later.
Due to caseworker incompetence, what should
have been a simple case case dragged on for years.
The webmaster's marriage eventually collapsed, and in Jan. 2004
the child was taken from the home.
Following the removal, the caseworker spoke only to the wife,
refused to speak to the webmaster
and did not return a single phone call from him
until the caseworker died 18 months later.
The next caseworker returned two phone calls but did
not let him see the child.
The webmaster wrote two reports on the case, but
they were never acknowldged by DFS.
Although he was the child's only true father,
the webmaster has not seen or talked to
the child since she was taken from the home.
The child is now adopted by an unknown
family. (Although little progress was made on adoption
when the child was living with the webmaster,
the adoption with the new family was pushed
through with unprecedented
speed as soon as the webmaster
started becoming an activist in the court.)
