On April 26, 2006, we distributed
a 4-page printed flyer at the Family Court
and elsewhere:
Barbara Buckley: PURE EVIL (PDF, 150k).
It describes the Baby Sosa case.
Early on April 27, 2006, in response to a legal filing by Buckley, we produced a second 1-page printed flyer Barbara Buckley's Opposition (PDF, 50k). At a court hearing on April 27, 2006, packed with supporters on both sides, the court denied the foster parents' motion for an evidentiary hearing, citing the fact that two such hearings have been held already. The court also denied any delay in the transition plan. The child is to be returned to the grandmother for the final time at 8am tomorrow. (This is the last time that the foster parents can expect to see the child.) The lawyer for the foster parents indicated in court that he would appeal to the Supreme Court for "clarification", but we give this appeal little hope. Also see:
